Brewery ARS (Pronounced ARSE, rather than A-R-S) is the main anchor of virtually all Philly brew tours, and a major fan favorite. Owners/Brewmasters/twin brothers Sean and Andy opened up in late 2016, and have been producing some of the best beer in Philadelphia out of this small, garage-style location on Passyunk ave. As if there weren’t enough reasons to love this place, partial proceeds from their flagship beer, Wayne’s Pale Ale, are donated to Parkinson’s research. You’ll find a wide variety of beers on tap, ranging from juicy IPAs to farmhouse Saisons.
Liberty Brew Tours owner Jonathan has been known to show up in costume, often without being asked. Whether it’s Santa, the Easter bunny, or something wildly improper, he’s always willing to lace up his tutu in support of the ARS boys.
